Two Porsche supersports cars get new tires
Goodyear recently presented the brand new Eagle F1 SuperSport tire, announcing that the Eagle F1 SuperSport RS was selected as the No1 equipment of the Porsche 911 GT2 RS and the Porsche 911 GT3 RS supersport cars. The tire thus demonstrates its superior performance and marks the return of Goodyear to the world of supersport cars.
The Eagle F1 SuperSport RS tire from the UUHP (Ultra Ultra High Performance) tire segment provides the users with exceptional racing experience. Goodyear has specifically developed the tire for Porsche Motorsport, combining top-class knowledge with years of experience on racing tracks.
This tire has been homologated for the Porsche 911 GT2 RS and Porsche 911 GT3 RS for special sizes, as the cars require tires capable of predictably and exploitably transmitting 700 hp and 750 nm through the rear wheels, achieving better performance resulting in superior lap times. These are extremely demanding conditions that the Eagle F1 SuperSport RS tire perfectly meets, as proven at the Nardò Porsche Test circuit Nardò in Italy.
The Eagle F1 SuperSport RS tire, which brings a number of pioneering developments to the UUHP market, marks Goodyear’s return to the world of supersport vehicles and was developed at the Goodyear’s Development Center in Hanau, Germany.
