After a three-month renovation, SPAR Slovenija had opened the INTERSPAR Restaurant in its fresh look in the Europark shopping centre in Maribor. The modernly designed restaurant offers the guests a cosy atmosphere at the old location overlooking the Drava river and the picturesque old town backdrop. The renovation was done with the environment in mind, as Spar finds sustainable management and energy improvements greatly important.
The restaurant now has a modern interior as Spar used a combination of modern high tables with chairs and classic lower dinning sets for a fresh and vibrant interior look. The stylish renovation of the dining area is inspired by the Austrian architect and represents his third successfully completed project in Slovenia. The guests will now be impressed by the refurbished self-service section, which boasts modern equipment as well as a new salad bar and additional showcases. Spar has created a special children’s corner while parents can enjoy a modern bar designed to provide even greater comfort. The floor of the restaurant had been completely renovated and an environmental note was added, since the premises are now lit by energy-efficient LED lighting, and the entire ventilation system had been completely redesigned. They haven’t forgotten about the kitchen, which provides the chefs with excellent conditions for working and preparing delicious dishes.
Besides the ambience renovation, Spar also paid special attention to expanding and upgrading the offer, as they prepared a rich selection of salads in the salad bar and a diverse selection of freshly prepared dishes every day. A true culinary experience is also provided by the delicious grilled dishes prepared by the chefs right before the eyes of the guests.
The renovated INTERSPAR restaurant in Europark Maribor and its terrace offer space for 293 guests, while additional 67 visitors can enjoy their coffee and treats in the café next to the restaurant. The total area of the restaurant is 1,170 square meters, and the wishes and needs of guests are taken care of by 32 employees.
