After completing her studies in architecture, Nina Tomažin Bolcar switched to the field of marketing communications. Before moving to the field of public relations in 2001 when she joined Pro Plus, the publisher of TV programs for POP TV, Kanal A and the 24ur.com news website, she served as the Creative Director at Kanal A.
In 2004, she earned her master’s degree from the Faculty of Economics in Ljubljana, and in February 2006, she co-founded the Propiar agency, which she has been running since the beginning. In 2010, she was selected as one of the six most promising young Slovenian managers among two hundred candidates, earning a subsidized scholarship from Cotrugli Business School for the Executive MBA program.
Once a top-level athlete (she played in the Second Yugoslav Federal Volleyball League and was a member of the Slovenian Cadet National Team), she is now a recreational sportswoman. She is also a member of the Slovenian Public Relations Association (PRSS) and various business associations. She devotes significant resources and free time to charity work, including being the District Rotary Public Image Chair of Rotary 1912 – Slovenia and North Macedonia. She is a recipient of the Paul Harris Fellow recognition from the international Rotary Foundation.
