The official match ball for UEFA EURO 2020

adidas has created a special Uniforia ball marking the 60th anniversary of the UEFA EURO, celebrating the connecting power of this sport and the euphoria that the most prestigious football competition of the Old Continent brings. The ball reflects the pan-European spirit of UEFA EURO 2020, which will be held across 12 host countries for the first time.

adidas has unveiled the official match ball for the UEFA EURO 2020, named Uniforia. Its name combines unity and euphoria, celebrating the 60th anniversary of the championship that will bring together all the football fans from across the Old Continent at the stadiums or in front of the TV screens in the coming year.

adidas designers drew the inspiration for the Uniforia ball from the tournament’s revamped format which will see it played out across 12 different European countries for the first time ever. A bolddesign features bold, black brush-stroke style lines symbolising the blurring of boundaries, and flashes of bright, light colours as a celebration of bringing different cultures together. Uniforia thuscommemorates the notion of crossing bridges together, blending borders and diversity of fans and athletes. The ball design additionally features GPS coordinates of each stadium that will host matches. Enabling the tournament to be closer to fans, the games will take place in 12 host cities – London, Glasgow, Dublin, Bilbao, Amsterdam, Copenhagen, St. Petersburg, Munich, Budapest, Rome, Bucharest and Baku. From a technological standpoint, the ball boasts a high-performance structure and a unique ‘Hi-White’ material allowing for better visibility on the pitch for players.
