Slovenian football champions revealed new jerseys
The football pride of the Styrian capital is shining bright on the football fields in a completely refurbished look. This time, adidas dressed our national champions in a bold design of jerseys, still marked by a distinctive purple colour.
Football players of FC Maribor opened the new season of the Champions League under the wing of three lines again. For the eighth consecutive season, adidas designers have designed the jerseys especially for them, making them stand out even alongside the world’s most recognizable clubs. The fresh design of the FC Maribor jerseys was presented for the first time by captain Marcos Tavares and the no1 shooter of the violet ones Luka Zahović.
This jersey certainly stays in a distinctive purple colour, being enriched with golden embroideries and details that add a winning touch. In matches where it will not be possible to wear their first colour, however, the Maribor football players will perform in slightly more daring jerseys than previous season, as adidas replaced the white and yellow combination with a striking sunny yellow jersey colour that came back as the second colour of the FC Maribor competition equipment.
The new jerseys are of course available for the fans, too in both club stores in Maribor: in Vijol’čna Bajta at Tyrševa ulica 1 and in Vijol’čna Bajta in Mercator center Tabor II (at Ulica Eve Lovše 1) as well as online at www.vijolcnabajta.si.
