Lower prices for mobile services used abroad

After Telemach increased the amount of data transfer in the EU / EEA countries for its mobile service users in January, a roaming is cheaper in countries outside the EU as of 1 March 2018. March also brings two new packages for more carefree traveling with Telemach.

As the fastest growing mobile operator in Slovenia, Telemach introduced a new pricelist for mobile services and data transmission in countries outside the EU as of 1 March 2018. Calls, SMSs and, above all, data transfer will be cheaper up to twenty times in some countries. In order to provide the best user experience and meet the expectations of its mobile users, Telemach is also introducing the additional Balkan 500MB and Svet (The World) 1GB packages, which include a certain amount of data transmission while roaming in certain countries using certain networks.

Cheaper roaming in countries outside the EU
Among the countries where the use of mobile services will be cheaper, there are popular destinations – Serbia, Macedonia, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Turkey, Switzerland, USA, Canada, China, Russia and Japan. When roaming in Serbia, the price for Telemach mobile phone users to Slovenia would be 2.50 euros per minute, while so far, users had to pay 3.05 euros per minute of talking. There is also a noticeable change in the cost of data transfer while roaming in USA. From now on, users will pay 0,04883 euros for 100Kb of data transfer, while so far, the cost was 1.17 euros. When sending SMS while roaming in Switzerland, users will pay 0,32 euros instead of previous 0.50 euros per SMS.

Two new travel packages
Telemach also launches two new packages on 7 March to make travel even more carefree. Additional packages of Balkan 500MB and Svet 1GB include a certain amount of data transmission while roaming in certain countries using certain networks. The properties of both packages are listed in the table at the end of this text.

An additional package is easily activated by sending SMS with the BALKAN500MB keyword or SVET1GB keyword to 7070. Both packages are automatically inactivated after 30 days. Telemach informs its users about additional consumption via SMS. After the services in the package are used or the package is inactivated, the services are charged according to the regular valid roaming price list.
