Adrenaline seventh Soča Outdoor Festival

The seventh Soča Outdoor Festival took place between 28 and 30 June in the valley of the Soča river, where many running lovers and moving in nature enthusiasts tested their shape on demanding trail routes of very diverse and even wet terrain. Traditionally, adidas Terrex was the official sponsor of the Soča Outdoor Festival and the one to ensure the happening at the confluence of the rivers Tolminka and Soča, and made sure the competitors were motivated.

Soča Outdoor Festival hosted professional and recreational runners, adrenaline sports enthusiasts and other outdoor sports lovers for the seventh year in a row. Excellent organization was complemented by the idyllic nature of the Soča valley that creates a pleasant running atmosphere even in the hottest summer days.

adidas Terrex made sure the runners were prepared

According their endurance and preparedness, the runners were able to enter four running races across a diverse forest terrain. About 1,500 runners competed in 10km, 15km, 25km and 45km distances in an idyllic Tolmin nature. With the presence of its experts and the choice of appropriate sports equipment intended for a demanding terrain, adidas Terrex enabled the runners to test various models of race footwear and equipment. adidas presented the runners with the newest adidas Terrex Speed ​​GTXrunning shoes, offering full support for every step, regardless of the ground.

As the year before, the start ofadidas Terrex trail was at the main festival scene, and the spectacular finish of the 15km route was the adrenaline crossing of the Tolminka river. This year’s adidas race was entered by some 600 runners, including Luka Kramarič, a professional trail runner who won the second place, and the two mountain and adrenaline lovers Neja Jesenko and Jaka Škrlep. All have confirmed that adidas Terrex Speed ​​GTX is an excellent choice for running adventures in nature, successfully facing all outdoor conditions and a diverse terrain.

This year, the best runner at adidas Terrex run was a 28-year-old Gašper Bregar, who beat the 15 km route, full of obstacles and surprises, with a time of 1:01:36.9.
